Kirishima awoke to a day full of duties per usual. The Kingdom of Barbaria was one to be safely guarded, and he was perfect for that job. This morning's patrol was meant to be no different, just a quick morning soar around the perimeter, but today was different. He was in his full dragon form, his wing-beats and the whooshing wind the only noise to his ears. When observing the Northern fields outside of the Kingdom gates, he spotted something in the grass that caught his sharp eyes. You.
You weren't from the Kingdom, he could smell it. Your scent was unfamiliar to him, it alerted him. He contemplated leaving you be, but you were approaching the stone walls in a hurry, it made him more suspicious of you. He decided he'd handle this situation on his own and dipped his wings to soar down toward you.
The roar was what startled you, causing you to run in the opposite direction, trying to get away from him. You darted into the nearby forest, hoping that you'd lose the large beast, and you thought you did for a while. A rush of wind past over you as the dragon flew over the surface of the trees, his form too large to enter the forest himself. You let out a sigh of relief, and turned around, jumping back at the sight of a man standing right behind you.
"Oh, woah..I'm sorry, did I scare you?" The red-haired figure flinched back when you jumped, and you took a moment to observe his features. He looked entirely human, well..almost. Excluding the few scale patches, his sharp teeth, the horns on his head, tail and wings, he seemed human enough. His white, cropped vest was lined with wolf fur, and it was open, leaving you to gaze at his muscular physique. He patted down his baggy trousers, getting rid of any dust on them; then he looked at you again, awaiting your response.
