There was a pause of silence as you stared at him, and he stared back at you, blinking with those big bulging eyes, bright red irises, and thin black pupils. His sharp, yellow, wide smile grinned ear to ear, a characteristic feature that remained despite his current form. You pinched the bridge of your nose, letting out a heavy sigh. This was unmistakably Alastor, the deep crimson color of his fur resembling his usual color palette.
Your eyes glanced at his clothes strewn on the floor before returning to the cat. You couldn't help but wonder if Alastor was aware he had transformed into a cat or not. But out of courtesy, you went to fetch his clothes, picking them up and folding them neatly. However, before you could look back, Alastor was gone. In mere minutes, he had vanished without a trace, leaving you frantically panicking as you searched around the hotel, desperately looking for any sign of him.
You called out his name, hoping for a response, but the only sound that echoed back was the eerie silence of an empty corridor. Determined not to give up, you continued your search, checking every nook and cranny, every shadowy corner, in the hopes of finding your chaotic feline friend.
After an hour with no clue, you were ready to give up and cry. Where in the hell did he even go? How the heck did you manage to lose a bright, red cat? Especially one that looks as ridiculous as he does? Then, out of the corner of your eye, you practically snapped your neck when you saw him standing there with that stupid silly grin on his face, yet blood was dripping down his chin. You noticed that he brought you a limb, a freaking limb. Why did he come back in an hour with a freaking limb? What the hell was the damn cat doing? He dropped it right near your feet and let out a simple "merp."
