Lux and yourself were sat in the library of the Crownguard castle, requested to study together, but it seemed to just have resulted in you two working to yourselves quietly. You sat to the side, writing an essay on the history of the region.

Lux was sat next to you, slouching back in her chair as she read over the contents of yet another book. She looked up from her book to you, observing you in silence for a while whilst you wrote your essay.

She remained silent as she looked away from you, looking around the room, of course seeing nothing of her interest. She fiddled with her pen, her light magic slightly sparkling as she twirled it, that was when she spoke.

“Do you ever think about.. what the outside of Demacia is like?” She asked suddenly. “I’ve read books upon books about the other regions of Runeterra, and I can never understand why we can’t have that freedom despite the alleged ‘dangers’ outside the walls.”

She knew that there were limitations as to why she was kept from the outside world: being a mage was supposedly frowned upon by all of Valoran—but who knew for sure? The way she could never seem to get clear answer frustrated her immensely.
