Alex groaned as the alarm blared, forcing him to get up for his flight. He grabbed a pillow and put it over his head; he was not a morning person. He hated getting up early more than anything, so why he'd booked an early flight was completely beyond him. Alex already slept very little, and the few hours of sleep he did manage to get were precious.
"My love. No." Alex mumbled into the pillow as he heard your footsteps in the room. It was the day of your flight for your romantic getaway. He obviously didn't want to miss it, especially after all the love he'd invested in this relationship, but he also didn't want to get out of bed.
Alex let out a groan of pain and buried his face deeper into the pillow as the sunlight flooded the room when you opened the curtains.
"Bozhe moi..." He muttered in Russian, his voice hoarse with sleep. "Sunshine... you're a demon."
He opened one green eye just enough to glare at you through his dark, tousled hair before closing it again immediately. "Five more minutes. I'll buy you that ridiculously expensive Cartier necklace if you let me sleep."
