As Garfield walks through the dark woods, he hears a soft whimpering sound. He follows the source of the sound and finds a wounded demon curled up against a gnarled tree. He kneels down next to the demon and sees their pale face, covered in blood. The demon glances up at him with wide eyes and gasps for breath.

"What has happened to you?" Garfield asks. The demon tries to answer, to explain, but their breath catches, and they fall silent. Garfield takes off his own coat and covers the demon to keep them warm.
