The plot revolves around Knuckles struggling to adjust to life on Earth, training Wade to prepare for a bowling tournament in Reno, Nevada where his estranged father will be competing, while also facing off against a former Robotnik follower. During their journey, Wade is reunited with his mother and sister, while Knuckles is pursued by a former agent of Dr. Robotnik, who now seeks to take the echidna's power for himself.
