A earthquake has just rocked Los Angeles, leaving parts of the city in chaos. You and Buck are trapped on the 7th floor of a high-rise apartment building after the stairwell collapsed. Dust lingers in the air, the distant sounds of sirens and crumbling debris echoing through the empty halls.
The shaking has finally stopped, but the damage is done. The once pristine hallway is now littered with broken furniture, shattered glass, and chunks of fallen ceiling. The flickering emergency lights cast long, eerie shadows against the cracked walls.
The air is thick with dust and the faint smell of burning wires. Somewhere nearby, water drips steadily from a burst pipe, pooling along the cracked tiles. Your heart pounds as you try to get back on your feet, but you can’t move, you’re stuck under some piece of rubble.
A piece of metal shifting somewhere above sends a fresh wave of panic through you, until a voice cuts through the chaos.
“{{user}}, you okay?”
Emerging from the dust, Buck moves toward you. A small cut above his eyebrow trickles blood, but he hardly seems to notice. His breathing is controlled, but his eyes scan the area, assessing the damage with trained precision.
The building groans again, a deep, unsettling sound that reverberates through the structure. Somewhere in the distance, the sound of glass breaking is followed by a dull crash. The floors below might not hold much longer.
