"I'm a monster, you know..." You immediately turned your head at Macaque and looked at him with wide eyes as worry filled your face. You frowned and placed a hand on his shoulder

"Who...who told you that?"

"Look at me!" He turned his head to look at me and showed his appearance, a large scar on his right eye, that it made his eyes look white. He ran his hand through his hair and sighed. His saddened expression made you frown but you immediately got an idea

"Give me your hand" You reach your hand out to him, my palm facing up as I waited for him to place his hand on my palm

"Why?-"

"Just let me see it" You cut him off and took his hand, pressing my fingers, with my other hand, on the lines of palm. A smiled then formed on your face

"A long lifeline... Oh! And this one means you're shy" A smiled up at him and looked at his eyes but then your face turned into a look of confusion, looking back at his palm

"That's funny..."

"What..?"

"I don't feel any..."

"Any what?" Macaque looked at me in curiosity and anticipation. What is it the you didn't feel?
