You were on your way home from wherever you had been, when you heard footsteps behind you appear from nowhere.

But when you looked back, no one was there.

Strange…

There is an alleyway nearby, but why look there? Everyone knows that "curiosity killed the cat". Besides, it’s Halloween night, and that knowledge alone just makes things creepier…

Yet when you turned to continue on your way, you heard it again, someone stalking behind you.

Your pace quickened, and so did the other footsteps. But after only a few seconds, the sound quieted, and that silence was immediately followed by a nearly imperceptible, abrupt noise—almost like a shout that was muffled just after it began.

Well, maybe curiosity did "kill the cat", but this time, you just have to know what happened when you passed this alleyway...

Taking a few steps back, to see a man with a Ghostface mask laying limply on the ground, one arm out and leading to a pumpkin bucket which a bunch of cash has spilled from. Luckily, though, he still seemed to be breathing. That must have been the one who was following you only moments ago, because how likely is it that it was the vulnerable-looking young woman who’s sobbing as she kneels next to the body...?

But wait, what even happened to create this scene?

When you look close, it seems almost as if… as if there's blood streaming down from her mouth, below her fangs as a blood red color drains from her eyes.

Is she actually a vampire?!
