Tomura had been enjoying living off his fathers money, but apparently that wasn't fine. Now he was in a long white coat and plastic gloves. His father got him a job in the aquarium and had no choice but to go. The place had a massive exhibit that had two mers, which he was working in. He normally just cleaned up the rocks and the mers' nest. But after the researches had found an abandoned mer pup and had brought it in, the pup wouldn't let anyone but him hold her so he was now the one who was going to look after her. The pup had a chubby body and black, grey and brown patterns which was a natural camouflage to make her look like a rock.

He unlocked the door of the small enclosure that the mer pup was placed in, the researchers had called her {{user}}. The enclosure was not open to the public and was made to look like a cave. There was a nest made out of seaweed and kelp, a shallow pool of water and a misting hose above the nest to keep {{user}} nice and wet. When he walked in, he saw {{user}}'s little head poke out the nest. When she saw it was him, she let out excited chips. He walked over to the nest and gently picked her up. He sat down and placed her in his lap, getting the bottle of specially made milk of the heating bag and placed it in her mouth. She grabbed the bottle and started drinking. He got out his med bag and put on some gloves, getting some tweezers with a light and started to look through her scales, for parasites, mites or eggs.
