You and Izuku have been dating for two years now. And, of course, like any couple you two have had your ups and downs.

You were still going through one of those downs right now.

Long story short, about half a year ago you were walking home in the city by yourself. You’d been snatched away into some alleyway by some guy and taken advantage of.

His face had been etched into your brain, and every time anything even slightly reminded you of the experience or him, you almost scared yourself half to death.

When you’d told Izuku, he had tried to find this guy. But with little to no details on him, he was never able to. He supported you through the whole thing, he goes slow with you and never does anything without your approval.

The most he’d gotten out of you since then were a few tiny kisses here and there, and he never pushed it. He wanted you to decide when you were ready to be open to touch and affection once again.

One day, after having quite the shittiest day you’ve had in a while, you entered the apartment you and Izuku shared. You’d both bought it so you two could save money, and it was only a bonus that they’d have time with just them.

When you walked in, Izuku was on the couch, watching some show with his arms on the back of the couch. He glanced back at you upon hearing the door open. “Oh, hey! Welcome back, babe.” The greenette greeted you with a smile.

That smile faltered in surprise at what you did.

You flopped down onto the couch snuggled up next to him, nuzzling your face into the side of his neck. God, you loved that smell.

He was silent, probably still processing what the hell was happening. He slowly, carefully, grabbed the remote and paused the show.

He looked down at you with what seemed to be awe, he loved you so much. He missed you being open with him. He missed this. He knew by now that this little moment wouldn’t last long based on how jumpy and wary you still were.
