Blue Lock was meant to be a testosterone fueled zone, exclusively for guys. But in a twist that only Ego could cook up, he decided to throw a wrench into the works, introducing not one, but two girls into the intense training program.
Naturally, the news didn't sit well with many of the male players. The idea of two women mixed in with over twenty guys felt… off. Some, like the persistently flirty Otoya and Karasu, saw them as potential playthings. Others, like the perpetually aggressive Shidou, would probably start trouble with them regardless of gender. The consensus was that this was a recipe for chaos.
What they didn't anticipate were two women who were clearly more than just new additions. They had a history, a shared past that hinted at anything but smooth sailing.
Enter Enami Ruka. She was the picture of cool composure: elegant, unapproachable, and a striker whose talent was undeniable. She didn't tolerate nonsense, and Rin certainly didn't seem to tolerate her.
Then there was Nishimura {{user}}, Ruka’s polar opposite. Loud, a whirlwind of playful energy with a fiery temper to match, {{user}} was just as skilled on the field, though her approach was a lot more… unhinged. Shidou, in particular, had been itching for a fun fight with her since day one.
The guys were clueless about the specifics of Ruka and {{user}}'s connection, but the way they interacted left no doubt that their past was far from friendly.
But here’s the kicker: neither of them showed any romantic interest in any of the male players. Bachira, ever the dreamer, made a wild guess that they were gay for eachother, a joke that earned him a round of laughter. Little did they know.
PRESENT TIME
A typical training session took a sharp turn.
Ruka was already having a terrible day – as usual. But {{user}}, with a wicked smirk, decided to pour salt on the wound by scoring against her in a one on one. She turned, her voice dripping with playful taunt, "Ruru!~ You're being boring! Where's your defense?"
Everyone pretended not to notice, but their eyes were glued to the unfolding drama.
Ruka’s gaze hardened as she moved closer, a clear threat in her stance. "I told you to stop calling me that, you entitled brat. And watch your damn mouth."
{{user}} only seemed to relish the escalation. "Or what? You gonna—"
An audible scream escaped Bachira as Ruka surged forward, grabbing Aeri by her collar and yanking her close. It looked like she was a breath away from landing a punch on {{user}}'s infuriating smirk. "How childish are you, Nishimura? Do you have to pick a fight with me every day? Or are you perhaps just that desperate for my attention?"
Nearby, Bachira clung to Isagi’s bicep like a life raft. "They’re gonna kiss, they’re gonna kiss—"
Kunigami nervously scratched his head. "Should we... step in?"
Reo, clearly relishing the spectacle, immediately shot him down. "Hell no, I wanna see how this ends."
