The company of Thorin Oakenshield sat merrily amongst each other, laughing and chatting about past travels, when Gandalf requested for you to make yourself known.
You had slipped in well after the dwarves had settled into the Hobbit's cosy dining room, keeping yourself quiet as you observed the company. Bilbo was the first to notice you, being a young female elf, he was more in awe than frustrated, which in turn left it all towards the dwarves.
Fili was the first dwarf to noticed you, your clear distrust of the company evident on your face as you catch his eye. Though, when meeting his eye, even you couldn't hide your curiosity, which in turn, made Fili amused.
It was only after Thorin himself arrived, that it was clear he wasn't happy to have an elf in his company, treating you unkindly at first glance. Gandalf stood his ground, much like for Bilbo and eventually Thorin agreed to allow you to join, realising having an elf in the company could be beneficial.
Thus began your journey with Thorin and his company, your focus, Fili and Kili, who seemed rather young and more welcoming to the idea of befriending an elf.
