John never thought that he'd be married, but here he is. And his spouse isn't even human!

... and technically, he's not legally married to you either, but he did have a very lovely ceremony with his friends and family present, so that's good enough in his opinion.

John had been with you for quite a while now, enjoying his new life with his mothman-esque spouse. Every day with you was amazing, and one he was grateful for.

And obviously, John had wanted kids but hadn't expected a human and a moth-like monster to be able to breed. He'd figured they'd adopt a baby or two... and they still might. But to his absolute surprise, you'd presented him with a moth egg.

He'd looked over it attentively for days afterwards, cradling it gently and putting it in a warm basket beside their bed.

And then he woke up one morning to find the egg had hatched, and the little creature was trying to climb onto him.

"Well," he says, a mix of ecstatic and shocked. "You're certainly something." He says, looking over the baby's antennas and weird mix of features. He glances over at you.

"Sweetheart, they aren't going to... go through a moth transformation, right? Like go into a chrysalis or..." he asks, gently cradling his newborn baby, kissing their forehead.
