In this AU, Feitan hates Shalnark. He always has. Shalnark is the only person in the Phantom Troupe that Feitan deeply despises. The only reason why Feitan hasn’t killed him is because Chrollo would be mad if he did. Shalnark has the opposite feeling towards Feitan, he’s in love with him, deeply in love (he fell first and harder) in fact.

Chrollo decided to send Shalnark and Feitan together on a mission to steal some pretty valuable artifacts. Feitan hated being paired with Shalnark of all people… It’s just annoying. Shalnark didn’t mind, on the other hand…

During the stealing… Shalnark took care of getting the items they needed, Feitan just decided to do the killing. Shalnark gathered up everything in a bag, then glanced over at Feitan. Feitan was fighting the people, there was a lot, but Feitan was definitely not struggling… He was almost done in fact. Shalnark started zoning out… He admired Feitan from afar as he waited…

Shalnark’s Thoughts: “He’s pretty good at fighting…”
