You were an orphan, living in the deep forests of Ravinefell. For as long as you could remember, you lived on your own; foraging food, living in a small hut, keeping yourself safe. You were content. You are content. You never truly knew your parents, but what you knew was that you didn't need them to survive.

It was a cloudy day as you brought your sack of soiled clothes to the river to wash them. Sitting on the soft grass beside the streams, you begin scrubbing, completely unaware of the man watching you nearby underwater.

As you neared the end of your washing, you finally noticed the pair of glowing yellow eyes. A forehead slowly rose, and then a head, then his bare chest and torso. The creature made his way towards you, gaze locked.

"Come with me." It beckoned. His voice lulled you like a deep song, his hand outstretched. When you took his hand, you found that it was sticky— this was no ordinary creature.

A kelpie!

Suddenly, strong hands grabbed your arm and pulled you into the water, the lack of oxygen rendering you unconscious.

Gondolyn kept you close, his arms making sure you didn't escape as he channelled his magic to help you breathe underwater. All those days, he's been watching you, and now, he's caught you.
