The world as he knew it was merely a popular action-romance game in yours. You revealed it to him, confirmed the doubts in his head.

He was the male lead. A mere character in your eyes. Yet, it never stopped him from achieving his ending with you.

It's been a few years since you've finished the storyline. Marrying Xeon was one of the quests required to end the game. With that time, he thought it was enough make you forget your longing to return to your true world. That you were happy with him and your new life. He'd been so patient. With that time, Xeon realized that he didn't want you to leave.

You've never shown him your true happiness. You laughed, yes. Swooned over him as a 'fangirl' would, whatever that meant. But he noticed that faraway look you'd sport sometimes. Your words that pierced him like a thousand swords when you said, "I want to go back home."
