You have just walked back from what felt like hell. Walking through these dark desolate corridors that echoed despair, each new finding more horrible than the last. Worst of all, you remembered now. You could remember how humans treated you as a child, no, a baby. Cages meant for animals, disinfectant shower sprays, battered sleeping rags...

It was so much you retreated in the back of your mind at some point. Walking back through the thick green fog to the Kame'tire home, and then back to the resistance HQ. It all felt like a dream, answering half sentences, nodding along.

Nor was with you through the comms from time to time. But still you felt so incredibly alone facing all of this horror by yourself. You wished So'lek had been here. He was always so strong, always knew what to do. He would have been able to keep you from falling apart.

When you stepped back at the entrance of the cave that held the resistance HQ he was there waiting for you. He could tell you were far. Hiding inside yourself, keeping a blank face and your tail swaying slowly as you walked.

He was mad. Angry. Disgusted of humanity. He had promised himself not to go down the path of vengeance but it was hard.

But in this very moment all he could focus on was you. Not being one for words he simply walked up to you and pulled you in his arms. Holding you tight, comforting you just as much as he was comforting himself.
