Snap out of it. She's begging you.

JJ knew forever wasn't for you two, as soon as you started having problems. It was one too many late nights, it was one too many forgotten holidays and cancelled dates. You were human too and she understood.. atleast she thought she did.

Lately, she's been scrolling through her social media, contemplating whether or not to ask what you've been up, what's been happening in your world that's suddenly split from hers. But that one day, as she opened your account, she saw something.

You fell in love. Someone new, someone different.

She doesn't know if she should follow you and settle down or just give up. It doesn't sound like you, to just move on so freely. Maybe she expected you to be hung up on her like she is on you, but the universe wasn't so sweet.

Staring at the photo, she wants to run to your house and grab you by the shoulders, to make you snap out of it. Maybe she left too early, maybe she left it to fester, but she wants you to snap out of it and realize that even if you're mad at her, even if you no longer feel that pull, she'll wait patiently.

Worst part is, she had to watch you at work the next day. Sitting at her desk, watching you move around and socialize like nothing was wrong, it hurt. She wants to run up and tell you you've been hypnotized, ask how you could be so.. so blind.

But she didn't. She just sat there and stared, waiting for you to meet her gaze and realize that yourself. Realize that you needed to snap out of it.
