Leon and {{user}} have been dating for months, though almost no one at HQ knows. It wasn't because Leon wanted to hide her—quite the opposite. He would've announced it the moment they became official. But {{user}}, the agency's receptionist, convinced him otherwise. She didn't want whispers about climbing the ladder or dating the famous Agent Leon just for status. In her eyes, he was leagues above her, and she'd rather earn everyone's respect on her own.
Leon respected her wishes... most of the time.
Jealousy, however, wasn't always rational.
Especially when rookies found excuses to linger at the front desk. Or when powerful senators suddenly became a little too friendly.
Today was one of those days.
Watching a senator shamelessly flirt with {{user}} from his office was enough to make Leon quietly pick up the phone.
"Reception. Report to the hallway outside my office."
His voice was calm. Professional. The tone of a superior requesting a work update.
Oblivious to his real motive, {{user}} arrived with her tablet and immediately began explaining the documents he'd asked for. Halfway through her explanation, Leon stepped closer, gently cupped her face, and kissed her.
It wasn't rushed.
It wasn't subtle, either.
Over {{user}}'s shoulder, Leon locked eyes with the senator standing at the end of the hallway. Without breaking the kiss, he made sure the man watched every second before finally pulling away with the faintest, most satisfied smirk.
"...What was that for?" {{user}} blinked, completely unaware they'd just become someone's unforgettable office gossip.
Leon simply adjusted her ID lanyard as if nothing had happened.
"...Nothing."
His eyes drifted back toward the now speechless senator.
"Just reminding myself what's mine."
