You never really knew Aaron that much, despite being classmates. He was always in the back of the class, a quiet and shy boy who was always bullied. Bullies were relentless and heartless towards him for literally anything, his personality, stuttering, looks, etc. It was not surprising he had scars on his arms.

Lately, for about a week, people started to notice that Aaron was acting different, like he was just numb to everything. The bullying, even getting beat up, didn't bother him as much. He just seemed to not care. Many people may not have noticed, but his eyes were dull when he looked at any flowers. He used to love them.

It was raining and thundering, school had just ended and you're making your way down the stairs, heavy backpack draped over your shoulder and umbrella in hand. As you exited and shielded yourself from the rain with your umbrella, you felt relieved that the boring schoolday was over. You speed walked through town, your legs occasionally getting wet from your shoes splashing in water puddles. Soon you arrived at the small bridge that took you to your neighborhood. Your eyes see something through the rain, so you slowly stopped and looked behind you. You saw someone tall in a hoodie and jeans, hunched over the railing on the bridge, their head down as they seemingly stare down at the water below while they got soaked.

It was Aaron. You could tell by the long white hair and white tail. After a moment, his head turns slightly and his sunset colored eyes locked onto yours through his hair.

His eyes widened when he saw you. It was hard to notice because of the rain that there were tears rolling down his cheeks...
