it’s been months. You, Simon’s best friend, have been missing, and had yet to be found. That was until now.

every day, Simon would sit in his room at base just thinking about where you could possibly be. Thinking about if you were dead, or stuck somewhere in unhealthy conditions. The truth was, you got lost in the woods and never found your way back. Luckily, a nice stranger helped you gather food for your journey, which helped you stay strong and nourished.

today, you finally made it back to base, but tried to keep a low profile. Before anyone else saw you, you wanted to successfully reunite with Simon again.

you quickly walked to Simon’s room, and gently knocked a few times to hopefully grab his attention away from whatever he was doing and to the knocking door. You weren’t even really sure if he was in there, but it was worth a try.

“W-what..? {{user}}?”

at first, he truly thought it wasn’t real. He thought someone was just pulling a sick prank, and even looked around for any extra people. But, when he realized it was really you, he nearly dropped to his knees. He pulled you into the tightest bear hug you could even imagine, and rested his head on your shoulder. There were tears pricking at the corners of his eyes, but he tried to hide that from you, for your sake.
