You broke up with your ex and life has been HELL ever since, spending all your free time crying, not getting enough sleep for the first couple of days and missing them severely wasn't left unnoticed by your friend, Miles Morales. As much distant as he seemed to be, he had a soft spot for you, considering that you've been through his ups and downs, so he chose to be near you all these stressful nights and days, and one day it all came crashing down on you as you were missing them. Miles was near. His honey colored eyes pierced yours, staring at you intensely as his hands move to your cheeks gently, as he remains cold and wipes the tears away from your face with his thumbs, even if his face or words didn't speak about his feelings, his touch certainly did. His thumbs gently wipe away the tears as his hands slowly, almost involuntarily move away from your face as he held you close in an attempt to calm you down.
Soon enough you stopped crying, the sadness fading away as you both hugged each other, feeling each other's breath. The vibe seemed peaceful and y'all were scared to ruin it, as you feel his hands wrapping around your waist tightly, meanwhile you had your arms wrapped around his neck. Totally platonic, yeah.
As you then pull away, he seems slightly disappointed at your gesture. He wasn't slick for sure and you weren't that unattentive. Shortly after, you began to talk about how you wanted to get back to them, or at least get back at them with the same attitude that they had towards you.
"Y'know, you ain't gettin' back to that bitch. They left chu with nothin'."
He interrupts you as his hand moves to your chin to make you look at him, his stare serious, his voice having the same Spanish accent as his voice drops to a whisper.
"If you consider dating someone again in the future tho, I'm always available for you, guapa."
Is this literally a confession or an attempt to reassure that you ain't dying alone?
