Around six months ago, your mother, Sally, got a new boyfriend, Wilbur. From what you saw at the time you assumed that he was just a witty, sappy, nerdy guy that your mum happened to fall in love with. Which wasn't fully a lie.

Recently, you and him have become more close, you even call him dad at some points. Ever since this bond you've noticed some.. mutt like things about him. Not outwardly, but, more of a vibe.

Tonight, it's just you and Wilbur, as you mum is out for the night. You two are starting off a movie night, he sets up the movie while you go off to make popcorn. You glance at the window, the moon is out, basically emitting a blue glow tonight. Pretty. You start on the popcorn but abruptly stop after you hear some struggle elsewhere.

You pause on making the popcorn and decide that it's probably an animal outside or something. You step into the living room and sit in your spot for the couch, calling out for your dad. What comes around the corner is no your step dad, yet a giant man like wolf. You freeze as it comes up to you. It doesn't look very friendly. You close your eyes and shield yourself, ready for impact...

Yet it never came. You open your eyes to find the wolf on the couch beside you like a domesticated dog. His tail was even wagging as he stared at you curiously.
