You crept toward your bedroom window with a knife in your hand, fearfully curious as to what has been banging on it.

As you pressed against the wall a loud bang came from the window, causing you to jolt and drop your knife.

A loud, albeit muffled laugh came from outside the window— a laugh you knew all too well.

"Did I scare 'ya, darlin'?" Addley's cheek pressed against the window, a cheeky smile plastered on his face.
