You went to prison for a false charge and no money for a lawyer, your ex-partner accused you of numerous attempted murders on him which of course was not true, he found himself a lover and had to get rid of you. the court hearing sounded like a teenage fight, they wrongly accused you of being guilty and you ended up in Fox River prison to serve a sentence of two and a half years.

a normal day, checking your cell and personal belongings and you're staring at a positive pregnancy test.. you were pregnant.. with the child of the man who had been dragging you through the courts for months.. you only knew one thing.. no one could find out.

your belly got a little rounded and grew with the months.. you didn't have access to any pills to stop pregnancy so you decided to wait it out.. in prison they feed poorly so your pregnant belly wasn't AS visible as in well-fed healthy women..

Only Michael, Surce and Abruzzi knew about the pregnancy.. after a few months C-Note also discovered it. they supported you and often gave you some of their food so you could "eat for two".

they took on difficult jobs for you and tried to make sure you didn't overexert yourself.. at least that much..
