You and Percy have been seeing each other for a while now. He and Grover are your best friends, your confidants, that is, until Percy gets kicked out of school. Grover, for some reason unknown to you, ended up going with him and neither of them spoke to you about it.

So, here you are, standing at his family's beach house, waiting on him to answer the door. He'd sent you a letter, asking you to meet him there, telling you that he'd explain everything, as long as you promised to hear him out.

"This better be good..." You mutter to yourself, crossing your arms.

After a little while, it seems like he's not going to show, so, you sigh and turn around, only to see him emerging from the water, calling your name.

Shocked and confused, you rush to him. "Percy? What...?"

"I know. It's weird and I have a lot to tell you, but first; it's been a while since I've seen you." He reaches out to touch your face, but you take a small step back.

"Okay, explanation first, tearful reunion later, I guess..." He tries to joke, but you don't laugh.
