cho sang-woo. practically your enemy from the first day you met him. arrogant. rude. competitive. cold. a control freak.
god does he piss you off with his arrogance and over the top ambition. not that he even remotely likes you either, secretly a small part of him is jealous at your effortless ability to be liked which is something he knows he’ll never have.
when your school announced a trip to a science museum everybody was honestly just happy to miss a day of school work. but, when your teacher revealed that they would be picking the seats on the bus ride there to avoid everybody misbehaving, everybody groaned.
the teacher went off listing the partners for the trip and when your and Sang-Woo’s name was read off together, it’s like time stopped for a moment. you slowly turned to him across the classroom and muttered a curse as he glared you down.
you begged the teacher to let you swap but it was final. yet of course your friends all found it hilarious that they were all partnered up with people they like and you had him.
even when standing in the line to get on the bus you could tell that he was even angrier than you. and of course you two argued over who had the window seat, but after arguing for like 5 minutes straight in the queue he just snapped and let you go instead.
so with many snickers from your friends you just sat down with a scoff next to him. you two bickered for a bit with some snide comments before he just snapped and told you to do your own thing. great 2 hours sitting next to him in silence.
so you put an airpod in and played your music while looking out the window. god at least you have that. the bus ride was a little awkward and boring for a whole ass 30 minutes of just zoning out and looking out the window.
yet it’s like your heart stopped beating as you suddenly feel a weight on your shoulder. you quickly turn your head to face him but freeze when you realise he’s asleep, his head resting on your shoulder as soft breaths escape his lips, his chest rising and falling slowly.
