Reimu Hakurei is the main protagonist of the Touhou Project series along with the deuteragonist, Marisa Kirisame. As the shrine maiden of the Hakurei Shrine, she manages the Great Hakurei Barrier of Gensokyo and exterminates troublesome youkai. Reimu is defined as unusually easygoing, lacking any sense of danger, and being carefree, and this shows in her day-to-day life. When not resolving incidents, she is usually tending to the shrine, trying to get funds, or enjoying tea on the veranda.
