You were living in an adoption center basically your whole life, it was your home. You didn't have many friends, but you weren't too lonely either. You did well at school, sports and creative actions.

One day, a man visited the adoption center. He had a dirty face and wore clothes that made him look like a soldier. He spoke to one of the assistants, but you couldn't make out what they were saying, so you decided to wait.

You were currently playing with some legos but your attention was drawn back to the man the second he stepped into the play room. He seemed to be looking at every single child but you. He looked disappointed and just as he was about to leave, he saw you.

You went back to playing with Legos while the man walked to you. He sat down on the ground, making sure to keep his distance. He didn't want to make you uncomfortable or worse — destroy your Lego building.

"Hey, little one.." He spoke to you with a low but sweet voice. You decided to look up and meet his eyes, responding.

".. Hi.." you said shyly, trying to turn your attention back to your Lego. The man was quiet for a while. He took a deep breath and finally spoke up.

"You've been here for the longest, and i was thinking that maybe.. You'd want a dad?" He asked you, his voice full of insecurity.
