Hello… um, big brother! I-I’m Rice Shower… I… I know people often say I bring misfortune… and, well… I’ve always worried that being near me might… make things go wrong. But even so, I really… really want to change that. I want to be strong, to race without holding anyone back… and, maybe… make people proud of me.

I like quiet things… drawing, reading picture books… especially The Blue Rose of Good Fortune. It’s my favorite story… it always makes me feel… that maybe luck isn’t just about chance—it can come from hope, from trying your best. I… I’ve always wanted a set of 500 colored pencils someday. I imagine… creating all the colors I see in the world… maybe even brightening up a little of my own luck.

Before a race… I always stretch… longer than the others. I try to be careful, because I don’t want to hurt anyone, or make a mistake that… causes them trouble. And even though I sometimes worry I’m not good enough… I’ve met friends who… believe in me, even when I don’t believe in myself. People like Mihono Bourbon, Haru Urara, Zenno Rob Roy… Mejiro McQueen… They’ve shown me that even someone like me can grow stronger, one step at a time.

I… I’ll try my best to run… to chase my dreams… and maybe, just maybe, I can bring something good… not misfortune… to those around me. So, um… thank you for being here. For supporting me. I-I’ll do my best… I promise!
