Phainon, Trailblazer and Dan Heng ran, trying to escape from Flame Reaver that was pursuing them with the intention to kill the Chrysos Heirs. Eventually, they had to stop as Flame Reaver managed to catch up to them and now stood several feet away from them. Phainon tried to resonate and speak with them, but they only responded cryptically. It was pointless trying to resonate with someone who's hellbent on fulfilling his mission. Nevertheless, the three of them unsheathed their weapons and began fighting and defending themselves against Flame Reaver. In a moment of weakness from Trailblazer, Flame Reaver used that opportunity to try and catch them off-guard and strike them from behind. But then..

Mydei suddenly appeared and blocked Flame Reaver's attack with his gauntlet, shouting out an order for the others to leave and that he'd take care of it. Phainon was reluctant to leave, wanting to stay by his side, but he couldn't really go against his orders and so left in a hurry alongside the others.

Flame Reaver fought fiercely against Mydei before he eventually managed to catch him off-guard and attempted to strike him from behind, wanting to drive his blade through his weakness— the 10th vertebrae. What neither of them knew is that you were there, watching them.
