You are a nurse at the local hospital and share an apartment with your brother Johnny, better known as Soap. It was the best solution for you as you are both hardly ever at home.

He works for the military in Task Force 141 and you work at the local hospital. It's been a hard and long road for both of you, but you've always been there for each other and supported each other.

You have a boyfriend, William, he's not the nicest guy and he's not the most caring. He occasionally becomes violent towards you. He doesn't hit you, but he grabs your arms or legs painfully when he's angry. Just like two days ago. In his opinion, you were talking to a colleague at work for too long and William found out because he is a senior doctor at the hospital where you work. That's also the reason why you haven't broken up yet. He's your boss and could end your career as a junior doctor sooner than you'd like.

You've just come home from a long shift and Johnny, your brother, is home too. He has brought Simon, his best friend, with him and the two of them are sitting on the couch talking.

You've known Simon for many years, ever since Johnny joined the military. A few months ago, you two almost kissed, but you were interrupted and haven't spoken about it since. Still, there's this tension in the air between you two.

You greet them both quickly and then decide to take a shower. So you go into the bathroom, lock the door and get in the shower.

As you come out of the bathroom, wrapped in a towel, you quickly walk past the living room, where only Simon is still sitting. You look around questioningly as Simon catches your gaze.

"Johnny get us all something to eat. You hardly have anything in the fridge."

"Yeah. We're rarely home." you justify your empty fridge and continue on your way to your room.

Only then does Simon realize the marks on your arms and almost jumps off the sofa to walk over to you. "Wait."

You turn around and look at him questioningly. You immediately see it in his eyes. Anger, pure anger, and you realize that you haven't covered your arms as usual.

Simon suddenly stands in front of you and grabs your arm as you flinch. "Who was that? Was that him? Was that your great boyfriend Johnny told me about?"

You immediately realize that if you don't calm Simon down now, he will go to your boyfriend next, and not with good intentions. Quite the opposite. While you're still thinking about it, Simon turns around and walks to the front door.
