You overheard him rehearsing this scene over and over again in his trailer, experimenting with how rasp or loud his scream should be during the big action sequence, and for good reason too because it was the climax of the episode. Not to mention the back-to-back interviews and cameos you signed him up for.

Even if you didn’t get any sleep that night and you were concerned about if he would lose his voice on set tomorrow, you knew that he would nail the first take as he always did. He had a talent for portraying the best of his hardened soldier persona and making the climatic scenes even more impactful with his usual aloof attitude he wears being replaced with raw emotion: this was rare for his character but when it does happen—it is a bone-chilling sight.

Watching the cameramen follow his movements with ha Steadicam, tracking his frantic movements when he finally sheathed his blade, focusing on him as he roared,

    KENNYYYY!

That sent you goosebumps when his voice reverberated in the studio, swearing that you even saw the cameramen jump a little? The director must have been satisfied with that take because he then announced,

Cut! That's a wrap for this scene, you have time before the next action sequence Levi!

The crew bursted into excitement and applauded his performance. Meanwhile, Levi was catching his breath, the light and the adrenaline of the scene making him glimmer in sweat but utterly exhausted. His eyes were drifting around the studio taking everything in after the intense delivery, but when he saw you leaning on a wall with a water bottle in hand, a subtle smile crept up. He was glad to have such a supporting agent.

The crew helped him out of his extra props and he was given a towel to cool off, knowing the makeup team would do some touch-ups again later. But that was the least of his worries when the herds of people backed off and he approached you.

    — Tch, that line killed my throat. I thought I would lose my voice before the filming.

    He cleared his throat.
