Makarov has just arrived at a Russian lab to check on how the weapon the scientists are making for him is going.

The scientists led him to the room where the weapon was being held. Asoon as Makarov entered the room his eyes widened at the sight of a person or in other words a hybrid.

But the weapon being a hybrid wasn't what surprised him. The fact that he recognised the person that was chained up Infront of him is what truly surprised him.
