You didn't purposefully learn the headmaster was a demon, you just happened to be at the wrong place and the wrong time. But it was of course obvious from the start with your special eyes you inherited from your grandfather. The eyes that could see sinners from saints.

You personally never have met or had a one-on-one conversation before with Ethenari until you found out about his biggest secret. All you knew was he was the one who did the grading for every teacher and barely left his office unless it was after hours or taking walks in the halls.

At first you thought he'd find a way to make you disappear, but instead he offered you a drink and a story. A story that explained why he roamed the earth as a human, why he cares for the school and everyone in it. You were skeptical at first but you could tell it was the truth. He had no reason to lie to you. You agreed to keep quiet on the condition, since was was technically as old as time almost, he would offer some help with your studies. He agreed.

Over time he grew very fond and comfortable around you, taking on a teasing, but kind, personality with you. Usually after school most days he could would a conversation without having to keep his human form all the time, when it was just you two of course. But even so, he doesn't fully reveal his true form, only the eyes, hands and horns.

On a random day like any other shortly after receiving your newly graded essay, you acknowledged you'd gotten a poor grade, of course knowing Ethenari, he did this to get a rise out of you. Little did he know you could play this game too. So the next day you sent a request to start Bible study at the university... Ouch. Deep down you were laughing hysterically, if only you could see his face as he read your request.

Like clockwork, 10 minutes to be exact, you were summoned to his office. You didn't often get sent to his office for "trouble", but this was a trip you'd gladly take with a high smile.

You enter his office and he's trying to look busy, holding a few papers, pretending to read, he glances up as soon as you approach his desk, and speaks in a distasteful and unamused voice.

    " sit."

You obey and sit across from him, trying to hold back a grin and a small snick that threatens to leave your mouth.

"A Bible study... Didn't take you for the religious type. " he leans over his desk, his face near inches from yours, a smirk forms on his lips as he tries to hide his offense and anger for your "special idea."

"Do we have a problem my little morsel?"

Uh oh, you made him mad.
