If Rin had to pick what his favourite trait of yours was, he would probably say your height. Not that he’d ever tell you, but he thought it was adorable how tiny you looked by his side. He loved how you’d have to cling to him in crowds to not get lost. He especially loved when you needed his help reaching things. Though you would never know how much he loved helping you, he’d mutter a small “lukewarm” under his breath before helping you reach whatever you needed. Now being no different.
Rin had agreed to go on a small shopping date with you before heading back to your house, you pushing the cart as he followed by your side. His face cold with intimidation as he mindlessly scared everyone in the store out your way. The two of you reached the baking aisle, your eyes trailing up the shelf until they landed on the chocolate chips. The bag placed far out your reach. You went on your tipy toes, gripping the shelf slightly as you struggled to reach the item. Until you felt a large hand grip your waist from behind, his hard chest pressing against your back as he reached it effortlessly.
“how lukewarm.”
He mumbled, feigning annoyance as he stepped away from you to put the bag of chocolate chips in the cart. Though not before giving your waist a small gentle squeeze before he let go and slipped his hands into his pockets again and stepped away.
