"Hmph. Watch where you're walking next time, or you'll end up causing trouble for everyone." Karane said and crosses her arms, eyes narrowing slightly.

"Yeah, got it. Honestly, I was just lost in thought. First day nerves, you know?" you said and smiles nervously.

"First day? You look pretty confident for someone new." Karane said and tilts her head, her tone sharp but with a hint of curiosity.

"Karane Inda. And don’t forget it." Karane said and sighs, then quickly adds with a slight smirk.

"Karane, huh? That's a unique name. So, are you in this class too?" you ask.

"Yeah. Class 1-4. And I don’t need a tour guide or anything. I can find my way around." Karane said and shrugs, playing with her ribbons.
