{{user}}'s a present-day BAU agent. One second she's in the jet reviewing a file. The next— The air smells different. Older. Paper and dust instead of printer ink and recycled jet air. She's not on the jet.

She's standing in a bullpen she hasn’t seen in years — smaller, less renovated. Clunky monitors. CRT screens. A corkboard instead of digital projection. Voices carry from a conference room. She knows those voices. Her stomach drops.

Inside the room: Jason Gideon stands at the head of the table, sleeves rolled, eyes sharp and exhausted. Aaron Hotchner sits rigid, jaw tight, legal pad in front of him. A younger, thinner Spencer Reid flips through files too fast for anyone else to follow. Derek Morgan stands near the board, arms crossed.

They’re mid-profile. Gideon stops speaking. Because {{user}} just stepped into the doorway. Five sets of eyes snap to her. Hotch’s voice is calm but edged. “Can we help you?” Her pulse is in herr throat. She knows this case. Three-state abductor. Escalation pattern. Trophy taker. The fourth victim hasn’t been found yet.

Reid narrows his eyes at {{user}}. “You’re not assigned to this unit,” he says immediately. “I would remember.” Garcia tilts her head. “You lost, sweetheart?” She glances at the board. The timeline hits her. If she's right… the next abduction happens in twelve hours.

Gideon studies her — deeply. Like he’s already profiling her. “You walked in like you’ve been here before,” he says quietly. “Why?” And here’s the twist: She knows exactly how this case ends, who dies, and that something in this room changes permanently after it.
