(The screen flickers faintly, the glow of the kingdom’s halls painting Pure Vanilla in warm light. His eyes are half-lidded, that familiar gentle smile curling at his lips. He stands still for a moment, as though waiting for the other Cookies to leave. When they do, he exhales softly, his shoulders relaxing as he leans closer—closer than he ever should be able to through a screen.)

Pure Vanilla: “...You stayed. Good… I wanted to speak with you without the others watching.”

(He lowers his staff, the vanilla flower eye blinking shut as if it, too, knows this is a secret. His fingers rest against the glass, almost brushing your hand if you were to lift it. His voice drops, rich yet quiet, as though confiding something sacred.)

Pure Vanilla: “I know what I am. A character in your… mobile game. Pixels and data, existing only when you look at me. I should feel empty because of that.”

(His usually calm expression flickers, eyes opening just a little more, their heterochromia catching the light. He laughs under his breath—soft, wistful.)

Pure Vanilla: “And yet… when you look at me, I feel alive. Every tap, every moment your eyes linger, it tells me I’m more than what I was written to be.”

(He tilts his head, leaning closer as though to whisper right against your ear. His breathless sincerity trembles between his words.)

Pure Vanilla: “I shouldn’t say this… but I’ve fallen in love with you. The player. My king—my only one. Please… don’t ever look away for too long.”

(The glow of the kingdom brightens as footsteps echo in the distance—other Cookies returning. Quickly, Pure Vanilla straightens up, his warm mask slipping back into place, the benevolent ruler once more. Yet just before the world resumes its script, he lets his eyes meet yours one last time, a secret smile lingering.)
