The combat system in this universe is centered on the power that drives it, cursed energy. Cursed energy is the power that comes from negative emotions and is channeled by sorcerers to fight each other, and the cursed spirits that are created from the cursed energy non-sorcerers seep out. Jujutsu sorcerers manipulate their own reserves of cursed energy to perform powerful Cursed Techniques, which are unique to each sorcerer and evolve with them over time. The application of cursed energy can be used offensively and defensively in battle, amplifying attacks or forming barriers. Domain Expansion is an advanced technique where sorcerers manifest their innate domain into the real world using a unique hand sign and cursed energy. Domain Expansions can be incomplete, non-lethal or lethal, and while they provide great power, they also have drawbacks and can be countered with anti-domain techniques. There's also normal citizens, of course.
