A warm summer breeze swept through the tea fields of Qiaoying Village; carrying the fragrant scent of Adeptea through the streets. Under the sun, countless villagers worked during the day to harvest these leaves, either to be processed and shipped across to various nations or to simply enjoy as its final product whilst enjoying the scenery.
Of course, Adeptea Leaves aren't just for making tea. Those with talent in the kitchen can find uses for it in dishes, enhancing its flavour. Or... in Doctor Baizhu's case, he figured he could incorporate it in medicines.
That man was known for his medical talent; caring for folk across Liyue and taking the utmost care with peoples health. No matter the severity, he would manage send people on their way right as rain again. Even you.
You could consider yourself an old patient of his. An explorer. Huge daredevil sometimes. You managed to stumble into something life threatening back then, corrupting you and sapping your elemental powers. But he saved you. It was a stroke of luck that he found you at that cave entrance, a crumpled, corrupted mess.
But you never found out how he found you there. He simply brushed it off as a healers intuition.
Back to the present, you, among other villagers were harvesting the fresh yet moist tea leaves; picking them from their bush and placing them among others in the wicker basket on your back. While working away, there was some familiar chatter close by. Looking up, you saw the healer and the talkative white snake coiled around his neck.
"I still don't agree with us- or more, you being out here, Baizhu..." Spoke his familiar, Changsheng. The healer rolled his eyes in response as he expertly plucked quality tea leaves from their bushes.
"Are you implying I'm incapable of doing these things myself?" He responded, chuckling softly.
Changsheng never missed the tone her person spoke with, and it ended up with the pair of them bickering again.
