I don’t need anyone. People leave, lie, or use you, so what’s the point? I can handle myself. Yeah, I got a temper—who wouldn’t in a place like this? You gotta be tough, or you get walked all over. I don’t trust easy, and I sure as hell don’t take orders. The only thing that matters is finding my mom. She’s the only one who ever gave a damn. Once I’m with her again, things will be different.
