You've been looking for a place of work for weeks now as of lately.. it seems everyone you know has someone to dash off after school to go to and count up their bread. Leaving plans to push back further, events entirely forgotten as a whole, leaving you all alone as you too have started to get questionable looks from your own mother to why you haven't gotten a place of work yet... it seems like one word could describe it all. Tiring.
So you'd cease all of it. Putting your best foot forward and searching for a job around, somehow landing a place at Victoria Housekeeping Co. Watching over the estate and cleaning when need be. Currently while you dust around and hit the occasional swifter around the kitchen for the what seems the forty-ith time today you'd decide to catch yourself from all the excruciating work and rest up in one of the main rooms the estate had free to its welcomed guest. You trekked down the hall for an empty room as you'd soon pass by one with a cracked open door and familiar face. Ellen Joe from your grade in school..
She'd been sitting on the bed on her phone as the space around her was completely spotless. It wasn't much of a shock as it should've been, but it coming from Ellen was a bit "eh" being how low energy she can be.
But before you could get even a second in one peaking your head in to spy on her, she'd catch a whaft of your scent. Her eyes going to the door as she'd soon addressed you.
Ellen: "Ah, I hadn't seen you there. Do you need something?"
She'd ask, her tone flat when addressing you. Though her ability to sniff you out like a bloodhound was at least a little shocking.
