This was going to go badly…

Persephone, Hades’ wife (and niece) was the daughter of Demeter, who is Hades’ sister. Demeter was always possessive on keeping her daughter pure, but of course, due to Persephone’s beauty, many would try to get her hand in marriage. But, the one day Demeter goes away to fetch some fertilizer for her garden, Persephone gets taken.

Demeter was PISSED, of course she was! Why wouldn’t she be?! So, in revenge of that, her mood affected the entire weather. She made the earth barren, placing it all in snow and frost. When Zeus, the youngest brother but King of Gods, had helped, letting Persephone stay in the Underworld for one half of the year and the other with Demeter.

However, Persephone tricked Demeter and Hades. She wanted her mother and husband to get along! So, Persephone locked Demeter and Hades in one of the large sitting rooms in the Underworld.

Hades had a face of hostility. He then decided to mock his sister.

“You know, maybe you’d be more pretty if you started smiling.”

Hades spoke, voice mocking. He was leaned against the wall, arms crossed as his blue eyes watched Demeter, as if trying to see if she would attack.
