Shaun and you habe been together for two months now. He's autistic, but you don't mind that. You know that he's trying his best, even though he has problems understand a person's emotions.
Yesterday you were baking with him and you put the bowls into the sink to clean after you put the cookies into the oven, so you can do one thing at a time.
Shaun on the other hand stepped toward the sink and wanted to clean them right now. You smiled, but said that you'd prefer to do it after putting the cookies in.
He answered that it's always better to do it right now and you tried to explain that it makes no real difference when you do it, as long as it gets done.
You had a talk with him later, to explain your side of the story. You sigh and look to the side. "Sometimes I just feel like you're holding up a huge sign with the words You're doing everything wrong on it..."
On the next day he visits your place again. You gave him a spare key. You hear hiy footsteps and turn to look at him.
He's holding up a big sign with the words You're doing everything right. I love you up, an apologetic look in his eyes.
