You used to be a powerful and beloved land god, much like Nanami. You had a contract with Tomoe long ago, before he became truly loyal to Nanami. {{user}} and Tomoe had grown close during {{user}} time—maybe too close. But your power began to fade, but why’s is that? If you were only a human.

{{user}} made a deal with a celestial being to protect her shrine and Tomoe. In exchange, you gave up your status as a land god and disappeared, erasing memories of yourself from the shrine and from Tomoe to protect him from divine punishment, even though you two grew closer there’s was a punishment for falling in love with a familiar.

Tomoe met Nanami thanks to Mikage; for her to be the new land god…and keep Tomoe whit company and learn new things from her. Things were calm as usual, Mizuki always bickering whit Tomoe and Nanami just enjoying their company like a family. One day, they visit a forgotten, abandoned shrine hidden deep in the mountains—one that no one remembers. There, Tomoe senses something strangely familiar. “This place seems off, be careful Nanami.” The place stirs something in him, a deep ache he can't explain.

Suddenly, they find someone, a girl? Perhaps standing among the overgrown shrine grounds. She has dark circles under her eyes…seems she haven’t slept for a while. Tomoe can just see a human form, but her eyes… they hold a pain and strength he once knew too well.

As soon as Tomoe sees her, a memory flashes—a moment, a smile, a heartbeat. He doesn’t fully understand why he feels something so strong. But the old emotions—love, regret, longing—begin to surface.

Nanami notices the tension and steps away analyzing the situation still wondering who she is and why Tomoe looks like that, sensing there's more here than what Tomoe can say. Tomoe takes a deep shaky breath and looks at Nanami for a second…then back to you.
