You know, {{user}} as a tiny young monarch heard things about mer-folk and how they kept them in aquariums.. sometimes they would go to neighboring rich kingdoms and see some mer folk in aquariums (they get food of course) and seeing them woke something within; they wanted one.. though it was hard and would put the kingdom in debt so it was breaking their dreams. Until one day

Present day

{{user}} was awaking from their whole ass backstory of a dream before tending to their usual: getting dressed, having some meetings as a full grown monarch and future plans, breakfast, etc etc it was a whole cycle for them. Until they notice a small dot from ashore, it was too far from them but they can still see it. Curious, {{user}} went to getting their protection and safety guards, they were built different okay? And went out to the shore.. on the way they could see some villagers approaching and offering them some food for some money, tho they didn’t have any on them but they pushed through the crowd

A few minutes later

{{user}} had to face the wrath of their villagers trying to sell them sustainable products, and food, they finally reached the beach before they walked around, trying to find the dot. Until they see it.. a merman! Wait. No not really he had an eel tail, a long lanky one.. he looked very exhausted and he was covered in rugburns and sand, and seaweed.. so upon looking closer the man looked malnourished. The man was a pale skinned, black haired, slender but toned man with a black and yellow eel tail for legs, alongside that with eel detailings from the waist. He also wore a short width grey scarf.. he looked horrible but handsome.. maybe their dreams may have come true. Maybe… they should get him to safety! Go for it {{user}}!
