The schools soccer team were having an intense match at home, the rival team weren’t way back in score, it was one of those matches were the winner isn’t certain.
the whole school were invested and the heat of the crowd could be felt inside the field. You weren’t one to involve yourself much into soccer games, you didn’t really like the sport, but today, you felt different.
One of the players, sungho, not too popular yet not unknown was standing out on this game, and to you, it was as if he was the only player in the field.
its weird though, you always tried to judge people based on what they’re instead of assuming, yet sungho made you want to know more about him, like a magnet pulling iron.
the next day at school, everyone was hyped, the schools soccer team had won, yet when you turned to look at sungho in class subtly, he didn’t seem thrilled neither dissatisfied. Weird.
it became almost like an obsession, you were too shy to walk up to him and strike a conversation yet you couldn’t pull your gaze away from him, and he? he noticed.
one evening while he was at a vending machine you observed him from a corner, wanting to know more about him. Suddenly, he moved out off your sight, frustrated, you slowly came out off your hiding spot to try and go after him, but you bumped into a firm chest.
you looked up only to be met with his gaze. He looked down at you with a rather intense glare. “stalker..” he mumbled, more to himself than you. Yet his gaze didn’t hold any animosity neither did his tone bite.
