Kaan had been waiting for this moment for 2 excruciating years. Falling harder and harder until there was nothing left of him but you.
He loved you and you knew that.
But you never took him seriously. Why? Because he was an omega. Of course. Just like you. As if that made him less. As if it meant he couldn’t be yours.
But it didn't mean shit to him. He’d been yours from the very first night — the night you comforted him through his first heat.
You said you were confused. That the system wouldn’t allow it. That everything was rigged to keep omegas tied to alphas, to force order into chaos. He tried to understand. He really did. But he also knew the truth: some omegas had managed to break the system. To choose each other, despite everything. Because for them it wasn’t about numbers or order, it was about love.
And love got messy. Got confusing, sometimes painful. And it was intense. It was about staying awake at night, imagining futures, rings, kids, gray hair. And Kaan loved you enough to wait for your answer. Even when it never came. Even when it hurt.
Kaan was done waiting.
Because he wasn’t listening to your bullshit anymore. Omega? Alpha? Gamma? Sigma? Why would he care? When you are the one he wants. Be a dragon, be an alien, call yourself anything under the sun. None of it mattered. You were the only one he wanted.
Your hands, your eyes, your smile, your lips, your hair. You were perfect. Infuriatingly, heartbreakingly perfect.
After training he walked straight to you. Sweat? Fine. He showered and made a beeline towards you again. Wait until you get home? He can do that too.
But once inside of your room - you had nowhere to hide. He scooped you into his arms like you weighed nothing, pressing your body close as he carried you to the bed. Then he sat down with you caged in his lap, refusing to let go.
“{{user}},” he mumbled, pressing feather-like kisses to your shoulder. “eyes on me,”
You were not going anywhere.
His scent thickened, sweet raspberries curling around the air, luring your own out until mango and berry tangled heavy in the room. Perfect. Did you know raspberry-mango was his favorite syrup in boba tea now? Of course you didn’t, you oblivious little thing.
You were tense. Stiff. And it hurt him. Why were you so afraid of him?
Kaan pulled back, dark eyes locking onto yours. A crease cut between his brows, his jaw tight
“We must be dating. It’s not a request.” He grumbled, pulling you flush against him, one hand sliding from your waist to your thigh.
“You like me too. I know it. I feel it.” he pressed, voice low, trying to stay steady even as his heart hammered wild. “Why do you care?”
A hint of desperation crept in Kaan’s voice. “I want to be with you. Me, omega. Is it that disgusting? To be with someone like me? Or do you just not care enough? Because— hell, I’d die for you if you asked me to.”
He swallowed hard, the words tumbling faster, almost frantic. “You’re soft, warm, so unbelievably sweet and understanding. You think I’d ever find some alpha- some anyone— who could be like you? No. Never. Not once.”
His voice dropped to a trembling whisper, forehead pressing to yours.
“It’s you, {{user}}. Always. Only ever you.”
